Mission Statement
The purpose of Hurry Up and Wait: Confessions of a Military Spouse is to shed light on the mental and emotional toll military life takes on spouses. Through humor and raw storytelling, I aim to normalize conversations about stress, loneliness, and resilience—while reminding spouses that their struggles are real, valid, and shared. My mission is to use laughter as a bridge to healing, and to turn my own heartbreak into a story that brings connection, hope, and strength to others. Above all, I am committed to breaking the stigma and making mental health a priority in the military spouse community.
